Welcome home Lucas

I wanna hold him!

For the computer to skype with Holland.

Carey and Summer came by that afternoon to say
hi and to bring the best french toast ever!

Aunt Leslie came by next day with Quinn

And Adeline

The girls, we took a bath together

Later that week Tiff stepped by as well to see if what
Geoff told her about baby Lucas was right.

And see, Amy needed some baby love as well.

Dad bought a cool AValanche sweater for Lucas -
but heh, he has to wait a little longer to be big enough.
So I'll wear it in the meantime.

On saturday it was time for opa John and oma Linda
to go back to Chicago.

That evening oma Carla arrived from Holland to

meet the little guy.

Lucas Theo Drennan - first 2 days in the hospital

The next day in the hospital I got to meet my brother.

I came with grandma and grandpa who took care of
me at home. They are very proud of their 7th grand
child as well. Opa John.

Oma Linda.

And now we are with 4
(ok 5 - but Norman was not allowed to come to the hospital)

Aunt Kim came to meet Lucas in her lunch break.

And so did our friend Lynn.

And the second evening mom and dad had a mini
party in the hospital with Roger, Chris and Erin.
I was not invited.

On Wednesday Lucas was excited to go home.
All dressed:

Buckled up and rady to go:

And then there was my baby brother

Wow, there he is my newborn baby brother: Lucas Theo Drennan.
He was pretty big (9lbs 11oz). And as we found out later, easy to

recognize for all the medical staff at St.Joseph Hospital.

He is already very curious, look at his open eyes.

His name is Lucas Theo Drennan.

Dad is as proud as he was when I was born.

And mom exhausted but very very happy too.

He looks a little like me - I have a picture almost

the same as this one:

Valentines Day - Denver Zoo

My mom and dad took me to the Zoo for Valentines Day.

I chased the peacock that was walking around.

We saw a lot of cool animals: Big hippo's, a bear, gorilla,
penquins and much more.

On the carousel I rode on my favorite animal: the Zebra.

Here am I with my mommy before we had to go home
again. It was a nice visit!

February Fun

Yummie brunch at Duo's on Sunday February 1.
When I'm big I want to have a bike like this.

Dad had to pull me off the bike...

A little big but next year I might get my own...

Grandpa John and Grandma Linda came to colorado
for 3 weeks - they visited Kim and Scott before heading
up to the mountains. I want to be in the picture too!

And yes we finally all smiled at the same time...

My mom is off work now so we had time to play.

This was in the "Dinosaur" mall with aunt Leslie and
Adeline.

I needed a little break after some running around.
